New Repertoire 2005–07

Tim Reynish presenting his session

What an immensely valuable and entertaining resource we have in Tim Reynish. We have had some incredibly thought provoking and useful sessions this week but none have been as fun, practical and out-and-out informative as Tim’s.

What never ceases to amaze me about Tim is his voracious appetite for new repertoire and how he can keep track and remember it all. Sound sample, images, lists and off-hand remarks brought to life what could have otherwise been a very painful reading of a list of new repertoire. I won’t bother to try and list that repertoire, as he will be posting his lists on his web site (www.timreynish.com). I will say that the expanse of repertoire covered in terms of nationality, style, and grade level was impressive. I can’t imagine anyone coming out of the session without at least a few new pieces or composers that they needed to learn more about.

Thank you, Tim. Keep it coming!
