Plan 1 Printing and mailing a WASBE Newsletter
Sponsor receives a camera ready copy of the Newsletter by the middle of the month prior to the month of issue.
Sponsor receives address labels by the first of the month of issue.
Sponsor prints and mails the Newsletter by the 15th of the month of issue.

Plan 2 Paying for the printing and doing the mailing of a WASBE Newsletter
Sponsor receives Newsletters and address labels by the first of the month of issue.
Sponsor mails the Newsletters by the 15th of the month of issue.

Plan 3 Paying for the printing and mailing of a WASBE Newsletter
Sponsor pays for the printing of the Newsletter and for all mailing costs.
Sponsor sends advertising materials to a third party, who does the actual mailing.

Once space is allotted and financial arrangements have been made, you will be provided with information on how to submit your ad electronically. Your ad must adhere to the Specifications for Advertisements listed below.

Specifications for Advertisements:

Half page 17cm x 12cm (6.75 x 4.75 inches)
Quarter page

8cm x 12cm (3.25 x 4.75 inches)

Ads that do not match these sizes will be reduced as necessary to fit the prescribed space.
Acceptable File Formats PDF
(Adobe Acrobat)
- Embed all fonts used
- Do not downsample images ("Keep Resolution")
- Use the least amount of compression (highest quality) or do not use compression at all
EPS
(Encapsulated PostScript)
- If possible, embed a bitmap preview

- Convert all text to outlines (paths)
QuarkXPress

While we may be able to use these formats if you send the necessary supporting files (including fonts), we would prefer if you would save these files as PDF or EPS if at all possible using the aforementioned specifications.
Image Resolution Imbedded greyscale images Optimal: 200–300 pixels per inch (80–120 pixels per cm) at print size.
Images below 150 ppi (60 pixels/cm) in resolution should not be used.
Imbedded monochrome images 600 pixels per inch (240 pixels per cm) or greater at print size.
Images below 450 ppi (180 pixels/cm) in resolution should not be used.
