Three Icons DVD Set Available

The DVDs chronicling the work of the "Three Icons" at the 2009 WASBE Conference in Cincinnati is now available for sale. The 3-DVD set features Frank Battisti, Donald Hunsberger and Robert Reynolds working with the WASBE International Youth Wind Orchestra to perform Band masterworks from Holst, Grainger and Hindemith. Those who attended the Midwest Clinic in Chicago were the first to see the DVD (in the WASBE booth). It is published by GIA. Stock is currently available through Shattinger Music.

The September 2011 issue of WASBE World magazine features numerous articles related to the recent WASBE Conference in Chiayi City, Taiwan, as well as two “Focus on Repertoire” articles: Divertimento by Oliver Waespi (in German and English), contributed by the composer and the venerable Holst Second Suite in F, contributed by Robert Garofalo. To read it, login with your username and password, then under the Home menu, select WASBE World Magazine and click on September 2011 in the right hand sidebar.
